The story which I will to tell , unfortunately is true
and passed some months ago.
Everybody knows that in Poland the Polish people prefer
do the repairs in the flats usually on the summer or spring; rarely during the
winter. The last winter was very cold, we have minus 17 degrees Celsius. Despite
this fact, some people, my grandmother's upstairs neighbours did a big
repairs in their flat.
My grandmother is 92 years old. She is in good
condition for her age. She lives with my brother, a nice young men, 23 years
old without girlfriend;-), but with a lot of friends.
We can supposed that my brother has a intensive life,
he goes often to sleep very late, luckily... Why?
One night he was listening a music and when he went to
the kitchen he thought that somebody was taking a shower. He decided go on the
our grandmother's bedroom and he saw a terrible sight... Half part of our family-flat
was a shower! The water was everywhere!
The water was raining of the ceiling and of the lamp.
He woke up our granny and he led her to his
bedroom, when all was dry. Fortunately granny was calm.
When granny was safe, my brother went to the cellar to
close the faucet of water and he asked the downstairs neighbours for help. The people upstairs, who caused the flood, were
absent!
There night was long... We have two neighbours under us,
one of them gave a bucket and came back to bed. The next one worked very hard
with my brother. They picked up more
than twenty buckets off the floor. They finished
3 hours later.
Finally, they could rest some hours, but the flat was
in the very poor conditions.
What do you think? What's
happened? Why the flood occurred?
